What´s POV?
POV stands for Point of View.
Point of view, most commonly known as POV, is the perspective of the person narrating the story or a play. It can be categorized as first person or third person.
First-person POV is when the character speaks about his own story, using I and us.
Third-person, on the other hand, is when there is a speaker or a narrator in a story using he/she or them in the story/play.
Therefore, POV is the narrator's perspective or position in the story being told.

What's POV all about?
POV TV tackles the issues that matter most to you. You'll explore topics like:
Sex and Relationships, HIV and AIDS, Alcohol and Drugs, Social Media, Fake News, AI, Cyberbullying, Pornography, Addictions, Depression and Anxiety, Body Image, Obesity, and much more!
You´ll talk about Wellness, too, which is a holistic concept that includes many dimensions of lifestyle that impact mental and physical health. Some examples of wellness include:
Physical wellness:
Taking care of your body through regular exercise, balanced eating, and enough sleep.
Emotional wellness:
Being able to make decisions and complete activities with minimal stress or worry.
Spiritual wellness:
Setting aside time for prayer, meditation, or personal time.
Social wellness:
Having social connectedness.
Who's behind POV TV?
You are! Secondary school students across Botswana will be the stars of the show, filming stories and creating content with their mobile phones. A team of experienced producers will be there to guide you every step of the way. Programs contents will be suggested and validated by MOE and Btv.
